- Stop off at one of the many great camping, fishing and swimming spots around the lake or take one the walking tracks through the forest
- Great spots for picnics or BBQs and popular for boating and skiing
- Both Lake Barrine and Lake Eacham are extinct volcanoes
- Try a Devonshire tea at Lake Barrine Tea House or take the cruise around the lake or take the lake circle walk
